Children of Freedom Fighters Registration 2026: The Home Department, Government of Goa, has announced a final opportunity for the children of recognized freedom fighters to register for government employment. Eligibility Criteria

  • Parental Registration: This facility is open only to the children of those freedom fighters who are already registered with the Home Department, Government of Goa.[1]
  • Previous Registration: Only those who failed to register when the scheme was first introduced in 2013 or during previous windows are eligible.
  • Documentation: Applicants must produce the Freedom Fighter Certificate of either parent (Mother or Father) to collect the application form.

    Since the process is offline, candidates must follow these steps:
    1. Visit the Home Department: Go to the Home Department office in Panaji, Goa, between March 17 and March 31, 2026.
    2. Produce Certificate: Show the original Freedom Fighter Certificate of your parent to the concerned official.
    3. Collect Form: Obtain the prescribed application form from the department
    4. Fill Details: Fill in the personal and educational details accurately.
    5. Submit Form: Submit the duly filled application form along with required documents to the Home Department on or before April 6, 2026.
