Selection Criteria & Salary Scale Structure
- Direct Merit List Selection: Selection is based purely on the system-generated merit list prepared according to 10th standard marks/grades obtained in recognized boards. No written exam or interview.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates undergo physical document verification by divisional postal authorities.
- TRCA Salary Structure: Branch Postmaster (BPM: **₹12,000 – ₹29,380**), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM/Dak Sevak: **₹10,000 – ₹24,470**) under Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus applicable allowances.
