The recruitment is being conducted to fill the backlog vacancies in various state services:

3. Selection Process & Next Steps
Candidates who have qualified the PT exam must now prepare for the following:
- Mains Written Examination: This consists of multiple papers including Language, General Studies (I, II, III, IV). Each paper is designed to test the analytical and descriptive skills of the candidate.
- Interview (Personality Test): Shortlisted candidates from the Mains will be called to the JPSC Headquarters in Ranchi for the final interview round (100 Marks).
- Medical & Document Verification: Final selection is subject to medical fitness and verification of original Jharkhand domicile/caste certificates.
