Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

1. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.
- For specialized posts (DEPR/DSIM), a Master's degree in Economics/Statistics/Mathematics is required.

2. Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026):
- Minimum Age: 21 Years.
- Maximum Age: 30 Years.
- (Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per Government of India norms).

3. Number of Attempts:
Candidates belonging to the General Category are allowed a maximum of 6 attempts for the Phase-I examination. No such restriction applies to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Salary Package: The initial basic pay for an RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 55,200/- per month. However, with allowances like DA, HRA, and local compensatory allowance, the gross monthly salary exceeds Rs. 1,00,000/-. Benefits also include medical facilities, bank residence, and low-interest loans.
