Selection Process & Salary Scale Structure
- Tier-I Examination: Objective Computer Based Test (CBT) covering English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness (200 Marks).
- Tier-II Examination: Objective & Skill Assessment CBT divided into Sectional Modules (Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge) + Typing / Skill Test.
- Pay Structure: LDC/JSA (Pay Level 2: **₹19,900 – ₹63,200**), DEO (Pay Level 4: **₹25,500 – ₹81,100** / Level 5: **₹29,200 – ₹92,300**) along with central government DA, HRA, and TA allowances.
How to Apply Online via Official SSC Portal (Step-by-Step)
- Visit the new official portal of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
- If you haven't registered on the new portal, complete One Time Registration (OTR) by providing basic personal details, Aadhaar number, and contact info.
- Log in using your generated OTR registration number and password.
- Go to the "Apply" section on the user dashboard and select "Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2026".
- Capture your live photo using the official SSC app or web camera interface and upload your scanned signature as per dimensions.
- Choose your preferred examination center locations and fill in your 12th-grade educational credentials carefully.
