• Age Relaxation: OBC gets 3 years, SC/ST gets 5 years, and PwBD candidates get up to 10 years relaxation as per Central Govt rules.

• Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000/- to ₹29,380/- per month.
• ABPM / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000/- to ₹24,470/- per month.

Selection Process & Merit List Generation
- No Entrance Exam: Selection is strictly based on the system-generated merit list calculated from 10th-grade percentage/CGPA.
- Automated Cutoff System: Circle-wise and community-wise merit lists will be published on the portal based on applicant choices and 10th marks.
- Document Verification (DV): Candidates selected in the merit list must present original educational certificates, caste certificates, and identity proofs at the allotted division office.
How to Fill India Post GDS Online Form 2026
- Visit the official portal of India Post GDS at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Click on "Stage 1: Registration" to generate your unique GDS registration number.
- Complete "Stage 2: Pay Fee" (if applicable) using online payment modes.
- Proceed to "Stage 3: Apply Online", select your postal circle, fill in 10th-grade mark details, and upload your photograph and signature.
- Choose your preferred division and select post options (BPM/ABPM) in order of preference.
- Preview all entered details carefully, submit the application, and save the printout for future reference.
