2. Complete Qualification & Stream Eligibility

  • Experience Clause: For certain departments like MES and Farakka Barrage, diploma holders require a mandatory 2-year working experience layout in the relevant field. No experience required for B.Tech degree holders.

3. New Two-Tier Exam Pattern

  1. Paper-1 (200 Marks): Objective computer-based test containing Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Qs), General Awareness (50 Qs), and Core Technical Engineering Subject (100 Qs).
  2. Paper-2 (300 Marks): Online Computer Based Objective Test completely focused on depth core technical engineering specialization questions.
  3. Negative Marking Layout: A strict negative marking index of 0.25 marks for Paper-1 and 1 mark for Paper-2 is applicable for wrong tracking markers.

4. Application Fees Structure
